Aviva Premiership Rugby Football Union club the Newcastle Falcons have announced the signing of journeyman Samoan international winger Sinoti Sinoti from wellington, the New Zealand based side in the January transfer window in order to bolster their wing play that has been a bane for the team.
The 28 year old hard man has had previous stints in Europe with the likes of Castres, Toulon, Zebre and Aironi as well as Hawke’s Bay and will fly in to join up with his new team mates as soon as he can get his hands on a work permit VISA for the Great Britain.
Speaking to the official website of the club, the player once hailed as his country’s next big hope stated that he is looking forward to his new challenge in European rugby very much and he cannot wait to fly in and meet his team mates and straightaway get stuck in with them.
The new signing for the Newcastle Falcons also stated that it had been a long cherished for him to play in England and test him in the Aviva Premiership and he cannot wait to rise up to the challenge of playing against some of the biggest names in world rugby and he is hopeful that he can be of immense value to the team.
Dean Richards, the Director of Rugby of the Newcastle Falcons also expressed his pleasure at being able to capture one of the prime targets adding that he has all the potential to become a great signing for the club. He added that he has the experience and bring and edge to the attacking side of the backline as the team heads into the big games with crunch ties coming thick and fast between now and the end of the season in the Premiership.
